Alogo Move Pro — the sensor

Ride with confidence.Every stride, measured.

A small Swiss-made device on the girth reads 150+ parameters per stride — and turns them into decisions you can act on: performance and health, from today's jump-off to next season's soundness.

  • Authorized in FEI competitions
  • Validated vs lab motion capture (peer-reviewed)
  • 8 national federations
  • 30-day money-back guarantee

The sensor

Meet the Alogo Move Pro.

Research-grade precision, validated against lab motion capture — in a 127 g sensor that clips to the girth and disappears into your ride.

Aerospace-grade inertial navigation.

At its core: a tactical-grade inertial unit — the class of sensors that guides drones and aircraft — fused with HD GPS by our proprietary algorithm to reconstruct exact 3D trajectories.

Sensor + AI

A technology unique in the world.

A featherweight sensor, a published AI — and every ride becomes data you can act on: performance and health, for you and your horse.

The sensor

Move Pro measures

One single sensor captures 150+ parameters per stride at 100 Hz — accelerations, rotations, GPS position — validated against lab motion capture.

The AI

Our algorithms understand

Proprietary, published AI reconstructs 3D trajectories and learns each horse's own normal to flag what the eye can't see — from a single sensor. No one else does this.

AI anomaly-detection method published: Savoini et al., 2025.

The platform

One sensor. Two ways to see your horse.

Heart rate. As official Polar™ partner, pair a Polar Equine™ belt and analyse your horse’s heart rate alongside every Alogo metric. Learn more →

The science

Precision you can prove.

Created by Swiss riders and engineers, the Move Pro uses aeronautics-grade inertial technology to analyse your horse's movement in 3D. Lateral and front/back balance, cadence, speed, duration, energy: measured, not guessed.

Validated against the worldwide reference.

The Move Pro was validated against the Qualisys optical motion-capture system — the worldwide reference — in an independent peer-reviewed study led by engineer Kévin Guyard (Sensors, 2023): stride length and height, real jump trajectory, angles and push-off.

Scientific studies and the FEI RMSG

The FEI's Eventing Risk Management Steering Group (RMSG) is always trying to improve the safety of athletes and horses during competitions — especially during the cross-country test.

Scientific studies using our device were conducted during the competitions held in Avenches 2021, Montelibretti 2022 and Pratoni 2022, then at CHIO Aachen 2024 and 2025 and at the CCI4* and CCI5* in Lexington, Kentucky 2023, 2024 and 2025 — to better quantify the efforts of the horses during the cross-country test and help prevent injuries in the sport.

Rider and horse at sunrise

You feel it.
Now you can see it.

Alogo is a second pair of eyes on the horse you love. It never replaces your feeling — it backs it up, ride after ride.

Riders & vets

They won't ride without it.

Being able to “verify” a feeling with data takes it to another level. (…) The Alogo Move Pro technology helps us monitor each of our horses' training and competition performance in detail and identify any changes — positive or negative — early on, so we can act rather than react.
Andrew Hoy Andrew Hoy 🇦🇺Eventing rider, Olympic multi-medallist
It allows me to detect variations in the horse's locomotion in order to prevent any form of injury. As a person responsible in the veterinary world, I'm particularly attentive to all the analysis possibilities made possible by this technological gem.
SM Dr Stéphane Montavon 🇨🇭Chief of Veterinary Service of the Swiss Army
This tool allows me to validate my feelings, guide me in the choice of my equipment and help me to monitor the evolution of my horses over time.
Laura Collett Laura Collett 🇬🇧Eventing rider — Olympic gold medallist
With Alogo Move Pro, we have this new possibility to analyse with specific data the strides and jumps in their entirety; this data completes our rider perception and feeling. We look forward to working with this device and all the interesting information it provides on our horses!
MJ Mélody Johner 🇨🇭Swiss Olympic eventing rider
Alogo Move Pro is a unique system in the way it combines sensor technology with GPS. This allows unprecedented accuracy involving a number of variables that should be interesting and important for training, especially jumping.
LR Prof. Lars Roepstorff 🇸🇪SLU (AFB), Uppsala
As a veterinarian and trainer, I use ALOGO not only to track improvements in performance but also for early detection of injuries that affect performance. Early intervention is key to avoiding a more serious problem. ALOGO can also be useful during rehabilitation to indicate when the horse is fully recovered.
HC Dr. Hilary Clayton 🇺🇸Vet, Coach & scientist
Due to the lack of quantifiable data, the rider's feeling, experience and subjective appreciation were the only confirmation that a saddle was well adjusted. With the Alogo Analysis technology, we can for the first time demonstrate with real data how the saddles are improving the rider’s experience and the horse's performance.

Questions

Good to know.

How accurate is the Move Pro?
It was validated against the Qualisys optical motion-capture system — the laboratory reference worldwide — in an independent peer-reviewed study (Guyard et al., Sensors, 2023). The sensor itself uses aeronautics-grade inertial technology sampling at 100 Hz.
Do I need my phone while riding?
No. One press on the sensor's button starts the session. The internal memory records up to 10 hours; you sync afterwards via Bluetooth or USB.
Can I use it in competition?
Yes — the Alogo Move Pro is permitted in FEI Jumping, Dressage, Para-Dressage, Endurance and Eventing competitions. For national events, check your federation's rules or see our FAQ.
Does the sensor bother the horse?
At 127 g on the girth — attached with the supplied holder (3 sizes) or an integrated-pocket girth — there is nothing for the horse to notice. Nothing changes in your tack routine.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 14 hours of use on one charge — enough for a full competition day. It recharges over USB, on a computer or with an AC adapter.
What exactly is included in Alogo Premium?
Everything: the Move Pro sensor and equipment, all Alogo Performance and Alogo Health features, and personalized support from Team Alogo — for CHF 120/month, with no commitment and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
